About project

In short
In Russian education (school, college, university) new standards are being introduced. In accordance with them, a compulsory subject “educational project” appears in the school curriculum, and the college and the university are obliged to implement educational programs on the basis of a “social order”. The Internet portal Reactor is a social network that allows you to organize work on educational projects in school and vocational education: to form orders for projects; to formulate plans and manage the implementation of projects for existing orders and initiative projects (without an order); post information about the resources provided; participate in the implementation of projects as an artist; get a portfolio of completed projects.

The project activity is necessary for the student to form a portfolio. But where to find a suitable project? How to contact the head? How to fix the work? Where to write tasks? Where to ask questions? How to report on the results? And finally, how to see your portfolio? All these issues can be solved portal Reactor. The functionality of our portal allows you to: exchange messages, publish images, video and audio material, texts and tables, view and rate other people's messages and materials, group users into “interests”, keep a profile that accumulates the whole history of human activity, View other people's profiles and invite them to groups. Do you already use social networks? Meaning to use Reactor will not be difficult for you. Having executed an interesting project in it on our portal, you can then post it in other social networks (Vkontakte, Facebook), blogs / forums.

In 2011, by order of the Ministry of Education, the federal state educational standard for high school was approved (grades 10-11). The standard introduces a new mandatory subject "Individual Project". An individual project should be aimed at solving a practical and socially significant task, and also correspond to the chosen direction of further professional education. In carrying out the project, the student must demonstrate the subject and super-subject competencies acquired during the training. The results of individual projects are accumulated in the portfolio, which is a mandatory addition to the certificate of the exam and certificate. Thus, 100% of students in grades 10-11, starting from 2014, will implement educational projects as a mandatory discipline. Portal "Reactor" was created to help the school teacher. It is possible to collect the project team of schoolchildren, find a suitable social order, select the necessary resources, directly plan and monitor the progress of the project, and after its completion print out the student portfolio.

Universities play several different roles in the project activities of students: First, the university can act as a social customer. Orders can be learning tasks, allowing to identify students interested in topics. But it is also possible for universities to use the resource base and competence of executors for the implementation of their own research and development work. Secondly, it is the universities - the ideal supplier of project managers. In order for the original and feasible project to appear, it is necessary to draw up a concrete action plan: determine the means of implementation, select the necessary resources. Drawing up a project plan is the most important step determining the quality and usefulness of a student / student. The functional role of the project manager also includes project implementation support. Representatives of universities and colleges can act as project managers. And, finally, universities accept portfolios from applicants and are interested in prepared and motivated applicants with a “serious” portfolio.

Social customers
The project begins with a “social order”. Different organizations can act as customers of the projects - universities and colleges, scientific organizations, local authorities, trade unions and employers' associations, public associations. Having shown the originality and necessity of the project, any individual can also act as a “customer”. The presence of an external “customer” ensures the practical and social significance of the educational project, makes it interesting for the student / student, gives the “seriousness” of the portfolio. By placing a social order, the organization gets the opportunity to meet with project managers and project teams interested in this subject area and to establish cooperation with them.

About resources
When implementing training projects, various facilities, equipment and information are needed; Moreover, the more diverse and qualitative these resources are, the more opportunities there are for project managers and students / students, the more interesting results can be obtained. Resource providers can be any external organizations: professional education, science, authorities, employers and public associations, as well as, patrons of art, that is, any individuals interested in implementing educational projects.
