Springs Of Russia

nowadays, the study of springs is of great scientific and practical interest. Every year there is an acute shortage of water on the planet. And the springs are strategic objects of nature. When you have an emergency, they can act as the only source of drinking water for the population.

unfortunately, in recent years, increasingly, there is evidence of contamination sources, however,  most people prefer to use natural sources, because the quality of tap water leaves much to be desired.

Project “Springs of Russia” is aimed at identification, study of springs, improvement of the territory around the sources and to further educational work with the population, with the aim of reviving the idea of a sensitive and careful attitude to various natural objects, including to the springs. A unique feature of the project “Springs of Russia” is that it is implemented by students-volunteers.

project Objective:

examination and certification of the springs, determination of environmental criteria in their condition by carrying out analysis of water and soil, with the aim of  mapping springs and the adoption of measures for the protection of natural objects.

 Target audience:

the Target audience of the project “Springs of Russia’ are:

the

    Local residents;

Tourists who use water from springs; the

  • Ecological community;

"The microcosm around us. In the footsteps of Antoni van Leeuwenhoek..."

We live in an amazing and unique world for thousands of years we used to see surrounding objects and phenomena of nature, have learned to understand them and sometimes to control, but does this mean that the whole world is restricted only to the human eye, the visible part that is hidden beyond human capabilities...? First to this question were able to answer (and more importantly see!), the great Dutch scientist Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (1623–1723), was. Creating the first microscope, simple and, one might say primitive, but making allowances for the possibilities of technology VII century of genius; the invention that made it possible to slightly open the curtain over the microcosm to show how he is rich and diverse (Fig. 1).

the Main objective of this work was to grow and to explore the patterns of microflora, to identify the growth parameters and the type of developing microorganisms depending on the environmental conditions. To achieve this goal have been made following tasks:

the
    the
  • the development of the methodology of the experiment.

  • the
  • Prepare your environment for the cultivation and inoculation of microflora.

  • the
  • the study of the process of the growth of microorganisms. Data collection.

  • the
  • the Preparation of medicines and for microscopic studies. The development work with the microscope.

  • the
  • data Processing.

Why glows the sea

Resting on the Azov sea, in the summer, one night I watched a very beautiful and unusual phenomenon. When the waves beat against the shore, the water sparkled and shimmered blue-white sparks. But if you run your hand over the water, the water sparkles from the movements. Looks fascinating.

It was interesting. What phenomenon is this? Why does it occur? And you can do at home to make a glowing water?

research Hypothesis: we should assume if there is a phenomenon of the luminous sea, then in home you can recreate the glowing water

The vermicompost using earthworms

Is that the current generation of people saw the worm, he considers it is ugly, someone seeks to destroy, or crush this valuable animal, not thinking about its role in nature. Therefore, earthworms require further study, despite the fact that their participation in soil fertility has long been proven to convey to mankind, as useful and necessary to us these animals.

project Objective: to prove that earthworms actively participate in the mixing layers of the soil and recycling of plant residues.

Hypothesis: earthworms improve soil structure and increase its fertility

The magic power of natural water

Once in the journal ‘Televison” I read that natural water has magical powers. It has its special structure. Getting into plants, so water fills them with vital energy. The water that flows from the tap, first also natural, as is usually taken from rivers. But passing through the cleaning station, it loses its magical powers and ceases to be useful to plants, such as water.

I'm still a little grown up and on the lessons of physics and chemistry know whether it's true or not. In the meantime, I decided to check it on experiments.

Aim: find out what kind of water is best used for watering plants.

         Objectives

    the
  1. to Study the characteristics of water, well and melt water for different sources of information.
  2. the
  3. to Conduct research on the cultivation of various plants when watered with different water.
  4. the
  5. to Compare the results of these studies.
  6. the
  7. draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Hypothesis: plants, water natural water, will grow faster and grow better than plants watered with regular tap water.

"A wonderful and mysterious jellyfish"

Jellyfish can be called one of the most mysterious and unusual creatures. I never thought that can encounter and experience the bite and burn.

one fine Sunny day I was stung by a jellyfish. I didn't understand how she could do it, as she could not see any mouth, no teeth, no eyes.

I was interested in: the structure of jellyfish, how they move, how they eat, how sting of the person, and what to do if she still got bit. I decided to do the research and try to find answers to my questions.

For the study, I set a goal and the corresponding tasks.

I suggested that jellyfish have eyes, mouth, and teeth, as  it stung me and not mom and dad.

Unusual flyers

Problem: In the book “My first encyclopedia" I saw photos of unusual animals-flyers. I wondered what animals-the flyers exist and how do they do it?

Hypothesis:  I assumed that for a flight do not necessarily have wings.

the Purpose of my project: to Study animals-flyers and the necessary conditions for this.

Objectives: to find Out whether students know about the animals that can fly. Find out which animals can fly without wings. To conduct flight tests. To combine the results  in the project and to make a conclusion.

"The life of dinosaurs on planet Earth"

my project Idea arose not just. I from a young age interested in dinosaurs, and have always wondered: Could dinosaurs exist today, in our time?

the Purpose of my project is to expand your knowledge about dinosaurs on the planet Earth.

the Relevance of this topic is very high, despite the fact that all the dinosaurs disappeared many years ago. People still find dinosaur fossils and with the same interest to study them and discover new types.
